Today we had Lara, Ryan, Gavin & Aubrey perch fishing. Boy, I tell you the kids WAY out fished the adults. Aubrey & Gavin are fishing machines.
We picked them up at South Bass Island and had a short run to the south of Green Island. It was a lighter & slower bite than yesterday but we managed 102 nice perch. Now the kids are going to be busy this afternoon cleaning all of them.
Perch Assassins & Perch Pounder rigs did great! We could not find shiners this morning so we took our frozen shiners & 3 scoops of goldies from Hi-Way Bait and they did just fine.
We have a sunset cruise tomorrow night then off for awhile.
